Kia ora e ngā whānau,
1. We were scheduled for an update in communication at 12pm. We sent out all correspondence ahead of schedule – last night.
2. There has been a Covid update for the whole country. From 11:59pm tonight NZ will move to Phase 3.
So, what does this mean for you and your children?
Stay home – If there is a positive case in your home, only your household has to isolate. NO ONE ELSE.
Come to school – Everyone else. Including students who were asked to stay home yesterday and today because the rules have changed.
Everyone, monitors. If your child develops symptoms get them tested – they will all be RAT tests now and you will find out straight away if they are positive or negative. If they are negative, back to school. If positive – see above.
Close contacts only need to monitor for symptoms not isolate – if they get sick see above.
