Tonight is our school family picnic – a chance to wind down and end the year relaxing together. We’ve purposefully kept it low-key so not too add too much pressure for the end of the year. We’d love to see everyone there. Don’t forget to bring something to sit on – rug or chairs and a picnic. We will have some food but it’ll be first in first served.
There’ll be novelty races and tug o war. All activities will be a gold coin donation.
We’re also really lucky to see our school Kapa Haka perform for the first time in a long time. They have been practicing for a couple of weeks and are sounding and looking sharp.
When you arrive, you’ll find us down on the field. See you soon!

END OF YEAR
As we wind down for the year, just a little reminder to treat staff and others with kindness. We will be endeavouring to keep routine and consistency right until the end because we know that’s what children need to feel safe ana happy.
If you have concerns you would like to address, I am always happy to have a chat, as is your child’s teacher. The best time for a sit down conversation is after school, however a short conversation before school is fine as well.
REMINDER PHOTOLIFE – You will have received your key codes and information about ordering photos via email. Please check your spam folders. If you haven’t recieved anything and would like to order photos, please contact the office. Remember free delivery finishes on the 6th December.
LAST DAY – The last day is a half day. We finish at 1pm.
STATIONERY
Like we indicated last year, we will be centrally sourcing all stationery at school from now on. This is to make sure students start the year with everything they need.
The cost for Y1-6 is $40 each – stationery packs will be purchased and sent straight to the classes. No more stationery shopping with different lists each year! There will be a letter coming home soon, with information on how to pay for your child’s stationery.
You can either pay before Christmas to get it sorted early or before school starts. If you do choose before school starts, please make sure you’ve paid by the 24th Januray – two weeks before school starts – so we can have all stationery ready for students when they start school on the 7th Feb.
